اِنَّ اَوَّلَ بَیۡتٍ وُّضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِیۡ بِبَکَّۃَ مُبٰرَکًا وَّ ہُدًی لِّلۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ ﴿ۚ۹۶﴾

96. بیشک سب سے پہلا گھر جو لوگوں (کی عبادت) کے لئے بنایا گیا وہی ہے جو مکہّ میں ہے، برکت والا ہے اور سارے جہان والوں کے لئے (مرکزِ) ہدایت ہےo

96. The first House ever constructed for mankind (to worship Allah) is indeed the one in Mecca, teeming with blessings and (the centre of) guidance for the whole world.

96. Inna awwala baytin wudiAAa lilnnasi lallathee bibakkata mubarakan wahudan lilAAalameena

96. Sannelig, det første huset som noen gang ble bygget for menneskeheten (for tilbedelse), er det som er i Mekka, som er fullt av velsignelser og (sentrum for) rettledning for all verden.

96. बेशक सबसे पहला घर जो लोगों (की इबादत) के लिए बनाया गया वोही है जो मक्का में है बरकत वाला है और सारे जहान वालों के लिए (मर्कज़े) हिदायत है।

৯৬: নিশ্চয়ই সর্বপ্রথম গৃহ যা মানুষের (ইবাদতের) জন্যে তৈরি করা হয়েছিল, সেটিই মক্কায় অবস্থিত, কল্যাণময় এবং সমস্ত জগতবাসীর জন্যে হেদায়াত (-এর কেন্দ্র)।
