اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے

اَلَمۡ تَرَوۡا اَنَّ اللّٰہَ سَخَّرَ لَکُمۡ مَّا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَ اَسۡبَغَ عَلَیۡکُمۡ نِعَمَہٗ ظَاہِرَۃً وَّ بَاطِنَۃً ؕ وَ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَنۡ یُّجَادِلُ فِی اللّٰہِ بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمٍ وَّ لَا ہُدًی وَّ لَا کِتٰبٍ مُّنِیۡرٍ ﴿۲۰﴾

20. (لوگو!) کیا تم نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ نے تمہارے لئے ان تمام چیزوں کو مسخّر فرما دیا ہے جو آسمانوں میں ہیں اور جو زمین میں ہیں، اور اس نے اپنی ظاہری اور باطنی نعمتیں تم پر پوری کر دی ہیں۔ اور لوگوں میں کچھ ایسے (بھی) ہیں جو اللہ کے بارے میں جھگڑا کرتے ہیں بغیر علم کے اور بغیر ہدایت کے اور بغیر روشن کتاب (کی دلیل) کےo

20. Have you not seen that Allah has subjected for you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and that He has showered His blessings upon you outwardly and inwardly? Still, some people dispute about Allah without knowledge, without guidance, and without an enlightening scripture.

20. (O people!) Have you not seen that Allah has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and He has completed upon you His blessings outwardly as well as inwardly? And amongst people there are (also) those who dispute about Allah without knowledge and without guidance and without (any evidence from) the enlightening Book.

20. Alam taraw anna Allaha sakhkhara lakum ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi waasbagha AAalaykum niAAamahu thahiratan wabatinatan wamina alnnasi man yujadilu fee Allahi bighayri AAilmin wala hudan wala kitabin muneerin

20. (Å, dere mennesker!) Har dere da ikke sett at Allah har underordnet dere alt det som i himlene og alt det som på jorden er, og at Han har fullbyrdet Sine velsignelser over dere – de ytre og de indre. Og det finnes også slike blant folk som krangler om Allah uten kunnskap og uten rettledning og uten (beviset til) en opplysende skrift.

20. (लोगो!) क्या तुमने नहीं देखा कि अल्लाह ने तुम्हारे लिए उन तमाम चीज़ों को मुसख़्ख़र फरमा दिया है जो आस्मानों में हैं और जो ज़मीन में हैं, और उसने अपनी ज़ाहिरी और बातिनी नेअ़मतें तुम पर पूरी कर दी हैं। और लोगों में कुछ ऐसे (भी) हैं जो अल्लाह के बारे में झगड़ा करते हैं बिग़ैर इल्म के और बिग़ैर हिदायत के और बिग़ैर रौशन किताब (की दलील) के।

২০. (হে লোকেরা!) তোমরা কি দেখো নি, আল্লাহ্ তোমাদের অনুগত করেছেন যা কিছু আকাশমন্ডলী এবং পৃথিবীতে রয়েছে এবং তিনি তোমাদের প্রতি তাঁর প্রকাশ্য ও অপ্রকাশ্য নিয়ামত সম্পূর্ণ করেছেন? আর মানুষের মাঝে কেউ কেউ এমন(ও) রয়েছে যারা আল্লাহ্‌র ব্যাপারে ঝগড়া করে; জ্ঞান ব্যতীত, হেদায়াত ব্যতীত এবং সমুজ্জ্বল কিতাব (-এর দলিল) ব্যতীত।
(Luqman, 31 : 20)

وَ اِذَا قِیۡلَ لَہُمُ اتَّبِعُوۡا مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰہُ قَالُوۡا بَلۡ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَیۡہِ اٰبَآءَنَا ؕ اَوَ لَوۡ کَانَ الشَّیۡطٰنُ یَدۡعُوۡہُمۡ اِلٰی عَذَابِ السَّعِیۡرِ ﴿۲۱﴾

21. اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ تم اس (کتاب) کی پیروی کرو جو اللہ نے نازل فرمائی ہے تو کہتے ہیں (نہیں) بلکہ ہم تو اس (طریقہ) کی پیروی کریں گے جس پر ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو پایا، اور اگرچہ شیطان انہیں عذابِ دوزخ کی طرف ہی بلاتا ہوo

21. And when it is said to them: ‘Follow what Allah has revealed,’ they reply: ‘We will rather follow what we found our forefathers following.’ What! Even if Satan is calling them to the punishment of the Blaze.

21. And when it is said to them: ‘Follow this Book which Allah has revealed,’ they say: ‘Nay, we shall follow (that) way which we found our fathers following,’ even though Satan should be inviting them to the torment of Hell.

21. Waitha qeela lahumu ittabiAAoo ma anzala Allahu qaloo bal nattabiAAu ma wajadna AAalayhi abaana awalaw kana alshshaytanu yadAAoohum ila AAathabi alssaAAeeri

21. Og når det blir sagt til dem: «Følg den (skriften) som Allah har åpenbart!», sier de: «Tvert imot! Vi vil heller følge den (veien) som vi så våre fedre på.» Og dette selv om Satan skulle invitere dem til det flammende helvetes pine?

21. और जब उनसे कहा जाता है कि तुम उस (किताब) की पैरवी करो जो अल्लाह ने नाज़िल फरमाई है तो कहते हैं (नहीं) बल्कि हम तो उस (तरीक़े) की पैरवी करेंगे जिस पर हमने अपने बाप-दादा को पाया, और अगर्चे शैतान उन्हें अ़ज़ाबे दोज़ख़ की तरफ ही बुलाता हो।

২১. আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, ‘অনুসরণ করো এ কিতাব যা আল্লাহ্ অবতীর্ণ করেছেন’। তখন তারা বলে, ‘(না) বরং আমরা তো অনুসরণ করবো যার উপর (যে পথে) আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি’, যদিও শয়তান তাদেরকে দোযখের শাস্তির দিকেই আহ্বান করে।
(Luqman, 31 : 21)

وَ مَنۡ یُّسۡلِمۡ وَجۡہَہٗۤ اِلَی اللّٰہِ وَ ہُوَ مُحۡسِنٌ فَقَدِ اسۡتَمۡسَکَ بِالۡعُرۡوَۃِ الۡوُثۡقٰی ؕ وَ اِلَی اللّٰہِ عَاقِبَۃُ الۡاُمُوۡرِ ﴿۲۲﴾

22. جو شخص اپنا رخِ اطاعت اللہ کی طرف جھکا دے اور وہ (اپنے عَمل اور حال میں) صاحبِ احسان بھی ہو تو اس نے مضبوط حلقہ کو پختگی سے تھام لیا، اور سب کاموں کا انجام اللہ ہی کی طرف ہےo

22. And whoever completely submits himself to Allah and is excellently virtuous has grasped the firmest handhold. And with Allah rests the outcome of all matters.

22. And whoever bows his face in obedience to Allah, and is also a man of spiritual excellence (in action and state of mind), has firmly grasped a strong handhold. And the end of all deeds returns to Allah alone.

22. Waman yuslim wajhahu ila Allahi wahuwa muhsinun faqadi istamsaka bialAAurwati alwuthqa waila Allahi AAaqibatu alomoori

22. Og den som underkaster Allah hele sitt vesen fullstendig mens han også besitter åndelig fullkommenhet, han har tatt et kraftig grep om det fasteste håndtaket. Og hos Allah er alle affærers ende.

22. जो शख़्स अपना रुख़े इताअ़त अल्लाह की तरफ झुका दे और वोह (अपने अ़मल और हाल में) साहिबे एहसान भी हो तो उसने मज़्बूत हल्क़े को पुख़्तगी से थाम लिया, और सब कामों का अंजाम अल्लाह ही की तरफ है।

২২. যে ব্যক্তি নিজকে আল্লাহ্‌র আনুগত্যে সমর্পণ করে আর সে (নিজের কর্ম ও মননে) আধ্যাত্বিক উৎকর্ষতারও অধিকারী হয়, তবে সে মজবুত হাতলকে দৃঢ়ভাবে আঁকড়ে ধরেছে। আর সকল কর্মকান্ডের পরিণাম তো আল্লাহ্‌রই দিকে।
(Luqman, 31 : 22)

وَ مَنۡ کَفَرَ فَلَا یَحۡزُنۡکَ کُفۡرُہٗ ؕ اِلَیۡنَا مَرۡجِعُہُمۡ فَنُنَبِّئُہُمۡ بِمَا عَمِلُوۡا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلِیۡمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوۡرِ ﴿۲۳﴾

23. اور جو کفر کرتا ہے (اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) اس کا کفر آپ کو غمگین نہ کر دے، انہیں (بھی) ہماری ہی طرف پلٹ کر آنا ہے، ہم انہیں ان اعمال سے آگاہ کر دیں گے جو وہ کرتے رہے ہیں، بیشک اللہ سینوں کی (مخفی) باتوں کو خوب جاننے والا ہےo

23. (O Prophet!) Whoever disbelieves, let not his disbelief sadden you. To Us will be their return, and We will inform them about what they have done. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing of what is (hidden) in the breasts.

23. And whoever disbelieves, (O Esteemed Beloved,) let not his disbelief grieve you. They (too) are to return to Us. We shall inform them of the deeds which they used to do. Surely, Allah knows best the (hidden) contents of the breasts.

23. Waman kafara fala yahzunka kufruhu ilayna marjiAAuhum fanunabbiohum bima AAamiloo inna Allaha AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

23. Og den som viser vantro, måtte ikke hans vantro gjøre deg trist (kjære ærverdige elskede ﷺ!). De skal også vende tilbake til Oss; da vil Vi underrette dem om alt det de pleide å bedrive. Sannelig, Allah er allvitende om det som er (skjuler seg) i brystet.

23. और जो कुफ्र करता है (ऐ हबीबे मुकर्रम!) उसका कुफ्र आपको ग़मगीन न कर दे, उन्हें (भी) हमारी ही तरफ पलट कर आना है, हम उन्हें उन आमाल से आगाह कर देंगे जो वोह करते रहे हैं, बेशक अल्लाह सीनों की (मख़्फी) बातों को ख़ूब जानने वाला है।

২৩. আর কেউ কুফরী করলে, (হে সম্মানিত হাবীব!) তার কুফরী যেন আপনাকে চিন্তান্বিত না করে। তাদের প্রত্যাবর্তনও আমারই দিকে। আমি তাদেরকে অবগত করবো যেসব কর্মকান্ড তারা করতো। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ্ ভালোভাবে অবগত যা অন্তরে (লুকায়িত) রয়েছে।

وَ لَئِنۡ سَاَلۡتَہُمۡ مَّنۡ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضَ لَیَقُوۡلُنَّ اللّٰہُ ؕ قُلِ الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ ؕ بَلۡ اَکۡثَرُہُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۲۵﴾

25. اور اگر آپ ان سے دریافت کریں کہ آسمانوں اور زمین کو کس نے پیدا کیا۔ تو وہ ضرور کہہ دیں گے کہ اللہ نے، آپ فرما دیجئے: تمام تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں بلکہ ان میں سے اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتےo

25. If you ask them: ‘Who created the heavens and the earth?’ They will surely say: ‘Allah.’ Say: ‘All praise belongs to Allah.’ Yet most of them do not know.

25. And if you ask them: ‘Who created the heavens and the earth?’ they shall answer: ‘Allah.’ Say: ‘All praise belongs to Allah alone.’ But most of them do not know.

25. Walain saaltahum man khalaqa alssamawati waalarda layaqoolunna Allahu quli alhamdu lillahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona

25. Og hvis du spør dem: «Hvem har skapt himlene og jorden?», vil de visselig svare: «Allah!» Si: «All lovprisning er for Allah alene!». Men de fleste av dem vet ikke.

25. और अगर आप उनसे दर्याफ्त करें कि आस्मानों और ज़मीन को किसने पैदा किया। तो वोह ज़रूर कह देंगे कि अल्लाह ने, आप फरमा दीजिए: तमाम तारीफें अल्लाह ही के लिए हैं बल्कि उनमें से अक्सर लोग नहीं जानते।

২৫. আর যদি আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করেন, ‘আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবী কে সৃষ্টি করেছেন?’ তারা অবশ্যই বলবে, ‘আল্লাহ্’। আপনি বলুন, ‘সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহ্‌রই’, বরং তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
(Luqman, 31 : 25)

لِلّٰہِ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ ہُوَ الۡغَنِیُّ الۡحَمِیۡدُ ﴿۲۶﴾

26. جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے (سب) اللہ ہی کا ہے، بیشک اللہ ہی بے نیاز ہے (اَز خود) سزاوارِ حمد ہےo

26. To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Indeed, Allah is the All-Sufficient, the All-Praiseworthy.

26. Whatever is in the heavens and the earth (all) belongs to Allah alone. Surely, Allah is Self-Sufficient, Worthy of all praise (by Himself).

26. Lillahi ma fee alssamawati waalardi inna Allaha huwa alghaniyyu alhameedu

26. Allah tilhører alt det som i himlene og på jorden er. Sannelig, Allah er den Selvtilstrekkelige, den som er all pris verdig.

26. जो कुछ आस्मानों और ज़मीन में है (सब) अल्लाह ही का है, बेशक अल्लाह ही बेनियाज़ है (अज़ खु़द) सज़ावारे हम्द है।

২৬. যা কিছু আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে রয়েছে তা (সব) আল্লাহ্‌রই। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ই স্বয়ং-সম্পূর্ণ, (নিজেই) প্রশংসা ও স্তুতির অধিকারী।
(Luqman, 31 : 26)

وَ لَوۡ اَنَّ مَا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ مِنۡ شَجَرَۃٍ اَقۡلَامٌ وَّ الۡبَحۡرُ یَمُدُّہٗ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِہٖ سَبۡعَۃُ اَبۡحُرٍ مَّا نَفِدَتۡ کَلِمٰتُ اللّٰہِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَزِیۡزٌ حَکِیۡمٌ ﴿۲۷﴾

27. اور اگر زمین میں جتنے درخت ہیں (سب) قلم ہوں اور سمندر (روشنائی ہو) اس کے بعد اور سات سمندر اسے بڑھاتے چلے جائیں تو اللہ کے کلمات (تب بھی) ختم نہیں ہوں گے۔ بیشک اللہ غالب ہے حکمت والا ہےo

27. And if all the trees on the earth were pens, and the ocean refilled with seven more oceans (were ink), the Words of Allah would not be exhausted. Indeed, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

27. And if (all) the trees on earth were pens, and the ocean reinforced by seven more oceans were ink, even then the Words of Allah would never be exhausted. Surely, Allah is Almighty, Most Wise.

27. Walaw annama fee alardi min shajaratin aqlamun waalbahru yamudduhu min baAAdihi sabAAatu abhurin ma nafidat kalimatu Allahi inna Allaha AAazeezun hakeemun

27. Og hvis alle trærne på jorden var penner og havet (var blekk) og det var støttet med ytterligere syv hav til, ville Allahs ord (fortsatt) ikke ta slutt. Sannelig, Allah er allmektig, mest vis.

27. और अगर ज़मीन में जितने दरख़्त हैं (सब) क़लम हों और समन्दर (रौशनाई हो) उसके बाद और सात समन्दर उसे बढ़ाते चले जाएं तो अल्लाह के कलिमात (तब भी) ख़त्म नहीं होंगे बेशक अल्लाह ग़ालिब है हिक्मत वाला है।

২৭. আর যদি পৃথিবীতে যতো বৃক্ষ রয়েছে (সব) কলম হয় আর সমুদ্র হয় (সমুজ্জ্বল) কালি এবং এর সাথে আরো সাত সমুদ্র যুক্ত হয়; তবুও আল্লাহ্‌র বাক্যাবলী শেষ হবে না। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাবান।
(Luqman, 31 : 27)

مَا خَلۡقُکُمۡ وَ لَا بَعۡثُکُمۡ اِلَّا کَنَفۡسٍ وَّاحِدَۃٍ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ سَمِیۡعٌۢ بَصِیۡرٌ ﴿۲۸﴾

28. تم سب کو پیدا کرنا اور تم سب کو (مرنے کے بعد) اٹھانا (قدرتِ الٰہیہ کے لئے) صرف ایک شخص (کو پیدا کرنے اور اٹھانے) کی طرح ہے۔ بیشک اللہ سننے والا دیکھنے والا ہےo

28. The creation and resurrection of you (all) is only like that of a single soul (for Him). Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

28. Creating you all and raising you all (after death) is (in Allah’s power) like (creating and raising) a single person. Surely, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

28. Ma khalqukum wala baAAthukum illa kanafsin wahidatin inna Allaha sameeAAun baseerun

28. Å skape dere alle sammen og å gjenoppvekke dere alle (etter døden) er kun som (å skape og gjenoppvekke) en eneste person (for Allahs allmakt). Sannelig, Allah er allhørende, allseende.

28. तुम सबको पैदा करना और तुम सबको (मरने के बाद) उठाना (क़ुदरते इलाहिय्या के लिए) सिर्फ़ एक शख़्स (को पैदा करने और उठाने) की तरह है। बेशक अल्लाह सुनने वाला देखने वाला है।

২৮. তোমাদের সবাইকে সৃষ্টি করা এবং (মৃত্যুর পর) তোমাদের সবাইকে পুনরুত্থিত করা (আল্লাহ্‌র ক্ষমতার জন্যে) কেবল এক ব্যক্তিকে (সৃষ্টি করা এবং পুনরুত্থান) করার মতো। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ তা’আলা সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বদ্রষ্টা।
(Luqman, 31 : 28)

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ یُوۡلِجُ الَّیۡلَ فِی النَّہَارِ وَ یُوۡلِجُ النَّہَارَ فِی الَّیۡلِ وَ سَخَّرَ الشَّمۡسَ وَ الۡقَمَرَ ۫ کُلٌّ یَّجۡرِیۡۤ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی وَّ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ خَبِیۡرٌ ﴿۲۹﴾

29. کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ رات کو دن میں داخل فرماتا ہے اور دن کو رات میں داخل فرماتا ہے اور (اسی نے) سورج اور چاند کو مسخّر کر رکھا ہے، ہر کوئی ایک مقرّر میعاد تک چل رہا ہے، اور یہ کہ اللہ ان (تمام) کاموں سے جو تم کرتے ہو خبردار ہےo

29. Do you not see that Allah causes the night to merge into the day and causes the day to merge into the night, and that He has subjected the sun and the moon, each orbiting for a specified term? And Allah is well aware of what you do.

29. Have you not seen that Allah makes the night pass into the day and makes the day pass into the night; and (He is the One Who) has made the sun and the moon subservient, each rotating for an appointed term and that Allah is Aware of (all) the deeds that you do?

29. Alam tara anna Allaha yooliju allayla fee alnnahari wayooliju alnnahara fee allayli wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara kullun yajree ila ajalin musamman waanna Allaha bima taAAmaloona khabeerun

29. Har du da ikke sett at Allah får natten til å gå over til dagen og får dagen til å gå over til natten, og at Han har gjort solen og månen underdanige – enhver beveger seg for en fastsatt tid? Allah er vel underrettet om alt det dere gjør.

29. क्या आपने नहीं देखा कि अल्लाह रात को दिन में दाख़िल फरमाता है और दिन को रात में दाख़िल फरमाता है और (उसी ने) सूरज और चांद को मुसख़्ख़र कर रखा है, हर कोई एक मुक़र्रर मीआद तक चल रहा है और ये कि अल्लाह उन (तमाम) कामों से जो तुम करते हो ख़बरदार है।

২৯. আপনি কি দেখেননি আল্লাহ্ রাত্রিকে দিবসে প্রবেশ করান এবং দিবসকে রাত্রিতে প্রবেশ করান? আর (তিনি) সূর্য ও চন্দ্রকে নিয়মের অধীন করেছেন। প্রত্যেকেই বিচরণ করছে এক নির্ধারিত মেয়াদ পর্যন্ত। আর তোমরা যা করছো সেসব কর্মকান্ড সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ্ অবগত।
(Luqman, 31 : 29)

ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰہَ ہُوَ الۡحَقُّ وَ اَنَّ مَا یَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِہِ الۡبَاطِلُ ۙ وَ اَنَّ اللّٰہَ ہُوَ الۡعَلِیُّ الۡکَبِیۡرُ ﴿٪۳۰﴾

30. یہ اس لئے کہ اللہ ہی حق ہے اور جن کی یہ لوگ اللہ کے سوا عبادت کرتے ہیں، وہ باطل ہیں اور یہ کہ اللہ ہی بلند و بالا، بڑائی والا ہےo

30. That is because Allah is the Ultimate Reality. And whatever they worship besides Him is falsehood. And Allah is the All-Exalted, the All-Great.

30. That is because Allah alone is the truth and those whom these people worship besides Allah are false and because Allah is Most High, the Supreme.

30. Thalika bianna Allaha huwa alhaqqu waanna ma yadAAoona min doonihi albatilu waanna Allaha huwa alAAaliyyu alkabeeru

30. Dette fordi Allah alene er sannheten, og de disse tilber utenom Allah, er falske, og Allah er den aller Høyeste, den Største.

30. ये इसलिए कि अल्लाह ही हक़्क़ है और जिनकी ये लोग अल्लाह के सिवा इबादत करते हैं, वोह बातिल हैं और ये कि अल्लाह ही बलन्दो बाला, बड़ाई वाला है।

৩০. তা এ জন্যে যে, আল্লাহ্ই সত্য। আর আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত এরা যার উপাসনা করে তা মিথ্যা। আর আল্লাহ্, তিনি তো সর্বোচ্চ, মহান।
(Luqman, 31 : 30)
