Surah Nuh Ayat 16 with English Translation

اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful
وَّ جَعَلَ الۡقَمَرَ فِیۡہِنَّ نُوۡرًا وَّ جَعَلَ الشَّمۡسَ سِرَاجًا ﴿۱۶﴾
وَجَعَلَ ٱلْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا ١٦

16. اور اس نے ان میں چاند کو روشن کیا اور اس نے سورج کو چراغ (یعنی روشنی اور حرارت کا منبع) بنایاo

16. And (how) He has placed the moon within them as a (reflected source of) light and made the sun a (light emitting radiant) lamp?

16. And He brightened in them the moon and made the sun a radiant lamp (i.e., the source of light and heat).

16. WajaAAala alqamara feehinna nooran wajaAAala alshshamsa sirajan

16. og fått månen til å skinne i dem og gjort solen til en lampe (lysets og hetens kilde)?

16. और उसने उनमें चांद को रौशन किया और उसने सूरज को चराग़ (यानी रौशनी और हरारत का मम्बा’) बनाया।

১৬. আর তিনি তাতে চাঁদকে করেছেন আলোকিত এবং সূর্যকে করেছেন প্রদীপস্বরপ (অর্থাৎ আলো এবং উত্তাপের উৎস)।

16۔ تہٕ تٔمۍ کٔر یِمن منٌز زوٗن روشن تہٕ تٔمۍ بنوو آفتاب ژونگ (یعنی گاشُک تہٕ وُشنیرُک آگُر)۔
