Surah adh-Dhariyat Ayat 36 with English Translation

اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

فَمَا وَجَدۡنَا فِیۡہَا غَیۡرَ بَیۡتٍ مِّنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿ۚ۳۶﴾

36. سو ہم نے اُس بستی میں مسلمانوں کے ایک گھر کے سوا (اور کوئی گھر) نہیں پایا (اس میں حضرت لوط علیہ السلام اور ان کی دو صاحبزادیاں تھیں)o

36. But We did not find there other than one house of the Muslims.*

* One house refers to Prophet Lut and his two daughters; they were saved from the punishment, but his wife was not, for she was among the disbelievers.

36. So We did not find in that town (any house) of the Muslims except one (in which were the Prophet Lut [Lot] and his two daughters).

36. Fama wajadna feeha ghayra baytin mina almuslimeena

36. men Vi fant der bare ett hus med muslimer (der bodde Lot og hans to døtre).

36. सो हमने उस बस्ती में मुसलमानों के एक घर के सिवा (और कोई घर) नहीं पाया (उसमें हज़रत लूत अ़लैहिस्सलाम और उन की दो साहिबज़ादियां थीं) ।

৩৬. অতএব আমরা এ বসতিতে এক পরিবার (যাতে হযরত লূত আলাইহি সালাম এবং তাঁর দুই কন্যা ছিলেন; তা) ব্যতীত মুসলমানদের (আর কোনো পরিবার) পাইনি।
