Surah adh-Dhariyat with English Translation

1. اُڑا کر بکھیر دینے والی ہواؤں کی قَسمo

1. By the scattering (winds) that scatter (the clouds);

1. By the winds that blow and scatter,

1. Waalththariyati tharwan

1. Ved vindene som blåser og strør ut,

1. उड़ाकर बिखेर देने वाली हवाओं की क़सम।

১. শপথ ঝঞ্ঝাবায়ুর,

والذاريات ذروا

2. اور (پانی کا) بارِ گراں اٹھانے والی بدلیوں کی قَسمo

2. by the rain-bearing (clouds) loaded with the burden (of water);

2. And by the clouds that carry a heavy load (of water),

2. Faalhamilati wiqran

2. og ved skyene som bærer på et tungt lass (vann),

2. और (पानी का) बारे गिरां उठाने वाली बदलियों की क़सम।

২. অতঃপর শপথ ভারী (বর্ষণ) বোঝাবহনকারী মেঘপুঞ্জের

فالحاملات وقرا

3. اور خراماں خراماں چلنے والی کشتیوں کی قَسمo

3. by (the ships) which float gently (on the sea);

3. And by the vessels that float with elegance,

3. Faaljariyati yusran

3. og ved skipene som glir fint,

3. और ख़रामां ख़रामां चलने वाली कश्तियों की क़सम।

,৩. অতঃপর শপথ মৃদু চলমান নৌযানের

فالجاريات يسرا

4. اور کام تقسیم کرنے والے فرشتوں کی قَسمo

4. by (the angels) who distribute (blessings) by (His) command;

4. And by the angels that distribute work,

4. Faalmuqassimati amran

4. og ved englene som fordeler oppgaver,

4. और काम तक़्सीम करने वाले फरिश्तों की क़सम।

,৪. অতঃপর শপথ কর্ম বন্টনকারী ফেরেশতাগণের

فالمقسمات أمرا

5. بیشک (آخرت کا) جو وعدہ تم سے کیا جا رہا ہے بالکل سچا ہےo

5. indeed, what you are promised is true.

5. Surely the promise (of the Hereafter) being made to you is absolutely true.

5. Innama tooAAadoona lasadiqun

5. sannelig, det dere blir lovet (om det hinsidige), er visselig helt sant!

5. बेशक (आख़िरत का) जो वादा तुमसे किया जा रहा है बिल्कुल सच्चा है।

,৫. নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদেরকে দেয়া (পরকালের) অঙ্গীকার সম্পূর্ণ সত্য।

إنما توعدون لصادق

6. اور بیشک (اعمال کی) جزا و سزا ضرور واقع ہو کر رہے گیo

6. And indeed, the judgement (of retributive justice) shall come to pass.

6. And surely, the reward and the punishment (of actions) are bound to take place.

6. Wainna alddeena lawaqiAAun

6. Og sannelig, gjengjeld (for handlingene) vil i sannhet finne sted.

6. और बेशक (आमाल की) जज़ाओ सज़ा ज़रूर वाक़ेअ़ होकर रहेगी।

৬. আর নিশ্চয়ই (কর্মের) প্রতিদান ও শাস্তি সংঘটিত হবেই।

وإن الدين لواقع

7. اور (ستاروں اور سیّاروں کی) کہکشاؤں اور گزرگاہوں والے آسمان کی قَسمo

7. By the sky full of galaxies and pathways (of planets and stars),

7. And by the heaven with its galaxies and orbits (of stars and planets),

7. Waalssamai thati alhubuki

7. Og ved himmelen, som har galakser (av stjerner og planeter) og stier (baner),

7. और (सितारों और सय्यारों की) कह्‌कशाओं और गुज़रगाहों वाले आस्मान की क़सम।
