اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

وَ یُطۡعِمُوۡنَ الطَّعَامَ عَلٰی حُبِّہٖ مِسۡکِیۡنًا وَّ یَتِیۡمًا وَّ اَسِیۡرًا ﴿۸﴾

8. اور (اپنا) کھانا اللہ کی محبت میں (خود اس کی طلب و حاجت ہونے کے باوُجود اِیثاراً) محتاج کو اور یتیم کو اور قیدی کو کھلا دیتے ہیںo

8. And they give (their own) food, in deep love of Allah, to the needy, the orphan and prisoner (out of sacrifice, despite their own desire and need for it),

8. WayutAAimona alttaAAama AAala hubbihi miskeenan wayateeman waaseeran

8. Og de gir (sin) mat til de trengende og de foreldreløse og fanger av kjærlighet til Allah (selv om de ønsker og trenger den, for det ofrer de seg),

8. और (अपना) खाना अल्लाह की महब्बत में (ख़ुद उसकी तलबो हाजत होने के बावुजूद ईसारन) मुहताज को और यतीम को और कै़दी को खिला देते हैं।

৮. আর আল্লাহ্‌র ভালোবাসায় (নিজেদের চাহিদা ও প্রয়োজন থাকা সত্বেও উৎসর্গ করার নিমিত্তে নিজেদের) আহার্য দান করেন অভাবগ্রস্তকে, এতিমকে এবং বন্দীকে।
