Surah al-Mu’minun Ayat 47 with English Translation

اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

فَقَالُوۡۤا اَنُؤۡمِنُ لِبَشَرَیۡنِ مِثۡلِنَا وَ قَوۡمُہُمَا لَنَا عٰبِدُوۡنَ ﴿ۚ۴۷﴾

47. سو انہوں نے (بھی یہی) کہا کہ کیا ہم اپنے جیسے دو بشروں پر ایمان لے آئیں حالانکہ ان کی قوم کے لوگ ہماری پرستش کرتے ہیںo

47. So they said: ‘Shall we believe in two humans like ourselves while their people are our slaves?’

47. So they (also) said (the same): ‘Shall we believe in two human beings like ourselves whilst their people worship us?’

47. Faqaloo anuminu libasharayni mithlina waqawmuhuma lana AAabidoona

47. De sa også: «Skal vi anta troen på to mennesker like som oss, enda folket deres tilber oss?»

47. सो उन्होंने (भी येही) कहा कि क्या हम अपने जैसे दो बशरों पर ईमान ले आएं हालांकि उनकी क़ौम के लोग हमारी परस्तिश करते हैं।

৪৭. সুতরাং তারাও (একই কথা) বললো, ‘আমরা কি আমাদের মতো দু’জন মানুষের উপর ঈমান আনয়ন করবো, অথচ তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের লোকেরা আমাদের উপাসনা করে?’
(al-Mu’minun, 23 : 47)
