Surah al-Muzzammil Ayat 6 with English Translation

اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

اِنَّ نَاشِئَۃَ الَّیۡلِ ہِیَ اَشَدُّ وَطۡاً وَّ اَقۡوَمُ قِیۡلًا ؕ﴿۶﴾

6. بے شک رات کا اُٹھنا (نفس کو) سخت پامال کرتا ہے اور (دِل و دِماغ کی یک سُوئی کے ساتھ) زبان سے سیدھی بات نکالتا ہےo

6. Indeed, the vigil of the night is more impactful in crushing (the lower self) and more suitable for (creating harmony between the heart and) speech.

6. No doubt rising at night strictly subdues (the ill-commanding self), and makes the tongue deliver straight and clear speech (with the concentration of head and heart).

6. Inna nashiata allayli hiya ashaddu watan waaqwamu qeelan

6. Sannelig, å våke om natten tramper ned (ens eget jegs egenkjærlighet) kraftig og får tungen til å si det rette ord (med hjertets og hjernens konsentrasjon rettet kun mot Allah).

6. बेशक रात का उठना (नफ्स को) सख़्त पामाल करता है और (दिलो दिमाग़ की यकसूई के साथ) जु़बान से सीधी बात निकालता है।

৬. নিঃসন্দেহে রাত্রিকালে উঠা (প্রবৃত্তি) দমনে অত্যন্ত সহায়ক এবং (অন্তর ও মস্তিষ্কের একাগ্রতার সাথে) স্পষ্ট উচ্চারণের অনুকূল হয়।
