Surah al-Qamar Ayat 2 with English Translation

اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

وَ اِنۡ یَّرَوۡا اٰیَۃً یُّعۡرِضُوۡا وَ یَقُوۡلُوۡا سِحۡرٌ مُّسۡتَمِرٌّ ﴿۲﴾

2. اور اگر وہ (کفّار) کوئی نشانی (یعنی معجزہ) دیکھتے ہیں تو مُنہ پھیر لیتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ (یہ تو) ہمیشہ سے چلا آنے والا طاقتور جادو ہےo

2. If they (the disbelievers) see a (miraculous) sign, they turn away and say: ‘(This is) the same (old) magic.’

2. And if they (the disbelievers) see a sign (a miracle), they turn their faces away and say: ‘This is the powerful magic ever running down through ages.’

2. Wain yaraw ayatan yuAAridoo wayaqooloo sihrun mustamirrun

2. Og hvis de (vantro) ser et tegn (mirakel), vender de seg bort og sier: «(Dette er jo) evigvandrende mektig magi!»

2. और अगर वोह (कुफ्फार) कोई निशानी (यानी मो’जिज़ा) देखते हैं तो मुंह फेर लेते हैं और कहते हैं कि (ये तो) हमेशा से चला आने वाला ताक़तवर जादू है।

২. আর যদি এরা (এ কাফেরেরা) কোনো নিদর্শন (অর্থাৎ মুজিযা) দেখতো তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিতো এবং বলতো, ‘(এ তো) চিরাচরিত শক্তিধর যাদু’।
