اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

قَدۡ مَکَرَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ فَاَتَی اللّٰہُ بُنۡیَانَہُمۡ مِّنَ الۡقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَیۡہِمُ السَّقۡفُ مِنۡ فَوۡقِہِمۡ وَ اَتٰىہُمُ الۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَیۡثُ لَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ﴿۲۶﴾

26. بیشک اُن لوگوں نے (بھی) فریب کیا جو اِن سے پہلے تھے تو اللہ نے اُن (کے مکر و فریب) کی عمارت کو بنیادوں سے اکھاڑ دیا تو ان کے اوپر سے ان پر چھت گر پڑی اور ان پر اس طرف سے عذاب آپہنچا جس کا اُنہیں کچھ خیال بھی نہ تھاo

26. Those before them had also schemed, but Allah demolished their constructions from the foundation. So the roof collapsed upon them from above, and the punishment overtook them from where they could not perceive.

26. No doubt, those who lived before them (also) devised plots, but Allah knocked down the edifice (of their deceptive plots) from its foundations, and the roof caved in upon them, and the torment came at them from whence they least expected.

26. Qad makara allatheena min qablihim faata Allahu bunyanahum mina alqawaAAidi fakharra AAalayhimu alssaqfu min fawqihim waatahumu alAAathabu min haythu la yashAAuroona

26. Sannelig, også de som var før dem, drev med renkespill, men Allah rykket opp byggverkene deres (av renker og svik) med røttene, og ovenfra styrtet det tak over dem, og pinen kom over dem fra det holdet som de ikke hadde forventet.

26. बेशक उन लोगों ने (भी) फरेब किया जो इनसे पहले थे तो अल्लाह ने उन (के मक्रो फरेब) की इमारत को बुन्यादों से उखाड़ दिया तो उनके ऊपर से उन पर छत गिर पड़ी और उन पर उस तरफ से अ़ज़ाब आ पहुंचा जिसका उन्हें कुछ ख़याल भी न था।

২৬. নিশ্চয়ই যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল তারা(ও) চক্রান্ত করেছিল; তখন আল্লাহ্ তাদেরকে (তাদের চক্রান্ত ও প্রতারণাসহ) প্রাসাদের মূলভিত্তি থেকে উপড়ে দিয়েছিলেন  এবং তাদের উপর ছাদ ধ্বসে পড়েছিল। আর তাদের উপর এমন সব দিক থেকে শাস্তি এসে পৌঁছলো যা সম্পর্কে তাদের কোনো ধারণাই ছিল না।

ثُمَّ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ یُخۡزِیۡہِمۡ وَ یَقُوۡلُ اَیۡنَ شُرَکَآءِیَ الَّذِیۡنَ کُنۡتُمۡ تُشَآقُّوۡنَ فِیۡہِمۡ ؕ قَالَ الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡعِلۡمَ اِنَّ الۡخِزۡیَ الۡیَوۡمَ وَ السُّوۡٓءَ عَلَی الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۲۷﴾

27. پھر وہ اُنہیں قیامت کے دن رسوا کرے گا اور ارشاد فرمائے گا: میرے وہ شریک کہاں ہیں جن کے حق میں تم (مومنوں سے) جھگڑا کرتے تھے؟ وہ لوگ جنہیں علم دیا گیا ہے کہیں گے: بیشک آج کافروں پر (ہر قسم کی) رسوائی اور بربادی ہےo

27. Then, He will disgrace them on the Day of Resurrection and say: ‘Where are My (so-called) partners, on whose account you used to oppose (Me and the believers)?’ Those given knowledge will say: ‘Indeed, today, the disgrace and the distress are upon the disbelievers.’

27. Then He will humiliate them on the Day of Resurrection and say: ‘Where are those that you set up as peers to Me, and in whose favour you disputed (with the believers)?’ Those endowed with knowledge will say: ‘Today (all types of) humiliation and destruction will surely befall the disbelievers,

27. Thumma yawma alqiyamati yukhzeehim wayaqoolu ayna shurakaiya allatheena kuntum tushaqqoona feehim qala allatheena ootoo alAAilma inna alkhizya alyawma waalssooa AAala alkafireena

27. Deretter vil Han på oppstandelsens dag vanære dem, og Han vil si: «Hvor er Mine (såkalte) likestilte, som dere pleide å krangle (med de troende) om?» De som er blitt gitt kunnskap, vil si: «Sannelig, i dag er det all slags nedverdigelse og ruinering av de vantro!

27. फिर वोह उन्हें क़ियामत के दिन रुस्वा करेगा और इर्शाद फरमाएगा: मेरे वोह शरीक कहां हैं जिनके हक़्क़ में तुम (मोमिनों से) झगड़ा करते थे, वोह लोग जिन्हें इल्म दिया गया है कहेंगे: बेशक आज काफिरों पर (हर क़िस्म की) रुस्वाई और बर्बादी है।

২৭. অতঃপর তিনি তাদেরকে কিয়ামত দিবসে অপদস্ত করবেন আর বলবেন, ‘কোথায় আমার সেসব অংশীদার যাদের ব্যাপারে তোমরা (মুমিনদের সাথে) ঝগড়া করতে?’ যাদেরকে জ্ঞান দেয়া হয়েছে তারা বলবে, ‘নিশ্চয়ই আজ কাফেরদের জন্যে (সকল প্রকারের) অপমান এবং ধ্বংস’

الَّذِیۡنَ تَتَوَفّٰىہُمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ ظَالِمِیۡۤ اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ ۪ فَاَلۡقَوُا السَّلَمَ مَا کُنَّا نَعۡمَلُ مِنۡ سُوۡٓءٍ ؕ بَلٰۤی اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلِیۡمٌۢ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۲۸﴾

28. جن کی روحیں فرشتے اس حال میں قبض کرتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنی جانوں پر (بدستور) ظلم کئے جا رہے ہوں، سو وہ (روزِ قیامت) اطاعت و فرمانبرداری کا اظہار کریں گے (اور کہیں گے:) ہم (دنیا میں) کوئی برائی نہیں کیا کرتے تھے، کیوں نہیں بیشک اللہ خوب جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم کیا کرتے تھےo

28. Those whose souls the angels take away while they are wronging themselves will then offer submission (and say): ‘We were not committing any evil (in our life)!’ ‘Yes! Indeed Allah is All-Knowing of what you were doing!

28. Those whom the angels cause to die, whilst they are (constantly) doing wrong to their own souls.’ They will display obedience and submission (on the Day of Resurrection and say:) ‘We were not given to doing any evil (in the world).’ No indeed! Allah surely has thorough knowledge of what you used to do.

28. Allatheena tatawaffahumu almalaikatu thalimee anfusihim faalqawoo alssalama ma kunna naAAmalu min sooin bala inna Allaha AAaleemun bima kuntum taAAmaloona

28. Dem som englene tar sjelen til når de gjør sin egen sjel ondt (konstant).» De vil vise lydighet og underkastelse (på oppstandelsens dag og si): «Vi pleide ikke å gjøre noe dårlig (i jordelivet)!» Nei, derimot! Sannelig, Allah er allvitende om det dere pleide å bedrive.

28. जिन की रूहें फरिश्ते इस हाल में क़ब्ज़ करते हैं कि वोह अपनी जानों पर (बदस्तूर) ज़ुल्म किए जा रहे हों, सो वोह (रोज़े क़ियामत) इताअ़तो फरमांबर्दारी का इज़्हार करेंगे (और कहेंगे:) हम (दुन्या में) कोई बुराई नहीं किया करते थे, क्यों नहीं बेशक अल्लाह ख़ूब जानता है जो कुछ तुम किया करते थे।

,২৮. যাদের রূহ ফেরেশতাগণ এমন অবস্থায় হরণ করবে যখন তারা নিজেদের প্রাণের উপর (অবিরাম) যুলুমরত। সুতরাং তারা (কিয়ামত দিবসে) নতি স্বীকার ও আনুগত্য প্রকাশ করবে। (আর বলবে,) ‘আমরা (দুনিয়াতে) কোনো মন্দ কাজ করতাম না’। কেন নয়! নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ খুবই অবগত, যা কিছু তোমরা করতে।
(an-Nahl, 16 : 28)

فَادۡخُلُوۡۤا اَبۡوَابَ جَہَنَّمَ خٰلِدِیۡنَ فِیۡہَا ؕ فَلَبِئۡسَ مَثۡوَی الۡمُتَکَبِّرِیۡنَ ﴿۲۹﴾

29. پس تم دوزخ کے دروازوں سے داخل ہو جاؤ، تم اس میں ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہو، سو تکبّر کرنے والوں کا کیا ہی برا ٹھکانا ہےo

29. So, enter the gates of Hell to remain in it forever. So surely, evil is the (final) abode of the arrogant.’

29. So, enter the gates of Hell. You are its permanent residents. So how evil is the abode of the arrogant!

29. Faodkhuloo abwaba jahannama khalideena feeha falabisa mathwa almutakabbireena

29. Så gå nå inn gjennom helvetes porter; alltid skal dere være der. Hvor elendig de hovmodiges oppholdssted er!

29. पस तुम दोज़ख़ के दरवाज़ों से दाख़िल हो जाओ, तुम उसमें हमेशा रहने वाले हो, सो तकब्बुर करने वालों का क्या ही बुरा ठिकाना है।

২৯. অতঃপর তোমরা জাহান্নামের ফটকে প্রবেশ করো। তোমরা তাতে চিরকাল অবস্থানকারী। সুতরাং অহঙ্কারকারীদের কতোই না মন্দ ঠিকানা!
(an-Nahl, 16 : 29)

وَ قِیۡلَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ اتَّقَوۡا مَاذَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ رَبُّکُمۡ ؕ قَالُوۡا خَیۡرًا ؕ لِلَّذِیۡنَ اَحۡسَنُوۡا فِیۡ ہٰذِہِ الدُّنۡیَا حَسَنَۃٌ ؕ وَ لَدَارُ الۡاٰخِرَۃِ خَیۡرٌ ؕ وَ لَنِعۡمَ دَارُ الۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۳۰﴾

30. اور پرہیزگار لوگوں سے کہا جائے کہ تمہارے رب نے کیا نازل فرمایا ہے؟ وہ کہتے ہیں: (دنیا و آخرت کی) بھلائی (اتاری ہے)، ان لوگوں کے لئے جو نیکی کرتے رہے اس دنیا میں (بھی) بھلائی ہے، اور آخرت کا گھر تو ضرور ہی بہتر ہے، اور پرہیزگاروں کا گھر کیا ہی خوب ہےo

30. And it will be said to those who were God-conscious: ‘What did your Lord send down?’ They will say: ‘Goodness.’ For those who were excellent in goodness in this world, there will be a beautiful reward, and the abode of the Hereafter (for them) will be far better. The abode of the God-conscious is surely wonderful.

30. And (when) the Godfearing are asked: ‘What has your Lord sent down?’ they say: ‘All good (for here and the Hereafter has been sent down).’ There is good for those who do good in this world (too), and certainly the abode of the Hereafter is even better. And how excellent is the abode of those who are Godfearing!

30. Waqeela lillatheena ittaqaw matha anzala rabbukum qaloo khayran lillatheena ahsanoo fee hathihi alddunya hasanatun waladaru alakhirati khayrun walaniAAma daru almuttaqeena

30. Og om det blir sagt til de gudfryktige: «Hva har Herren deres åpenbart?», svarer de: «(Han har åpenbart) det gode (både for jordelivet og for det hinsidige liv)!» De som handler dydig, venter det gode i denne verden, og det hinsidiges hjem er visselig bedre. Og hvor fortreffelig de gudfryktiges hjem er.

30. और परहेज़गार लोगों से कहा जाए कि तुम्हारे रब ने क्या नाज़िल फरमाया है? वोह कहते हैं: (दुन्याओ आख़िरत की) भलाई (उतारी है), उन लोगों के लिए जो नेकी करते रहे इस दुन्या में (भी) भलाई है, और आख़िरत का घर तो ज़रूर ही बेहतर है, और परहेज़गारों का घर क्या ही ख़ूब है।

৩০. আর পরহেযগারগণকে বলা হবে, ‘তোমাদের প্রতিপালক কী অবতীর্ণ করেছেন?’ তারা বলবে, ‘(দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতের) কল্যাণ (অবতীর্ণ করেছেন)’। যারা নেক কাজ করছে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে এ দুনিয়াতে(ও) কল্যাণ; আর পরকালের গৃহ তো অবশ্যই উত্তম। আর পরহেযগারদের গৃহ কতোই না উৎকৃষ্ট!
(an-Nahl, 16 : 30)

جَنّٰتُ عَدۡنٍ یَّدۡخُلُوۡنَہَا تَجۡرِیۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِہَا الۡاَنۡہٰرُ لَہُمۡ فِیۡہَا مَا یَشَآءُوۡنَ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ یَجۡزِی اللّٰہُ الۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۳۱﴾

31. سدا بہار باغات ہیں جن میں وہ داخل ہوں گے جن کے نیچے سے نہریں بہہ رہی ہوں گی، اِن میں اُن کے لئے جو کچھ وہ چاہیں گے (میسّر) ہوگا، اس طرح اللہ پرہیزگاروں کو صلہ عطا فرماتا ہےo

31. (These are) the Gardens of Eternity, which they will enter, with rivers flowing beneath them. There, they shall have whatever they desire. That is how Allah rewards those who are God-conscious.

31. There are Gardens of Eternity which they will enter with streams flowing under them. Therein will be (available) whatever they will long for. That is how Allah rewards the Godfearing.

31. Jannatu AAadnin yadkhuloonaha tajree min tahtiha alanharu lahum feeha ma yashaoona kathalika yajzee Allahu almuttaqeena

31. De vil tre inn i Edens hager, elver vil flyte under dem, i dem vil det være (tilgjengelig) hva de enn måtte ønske seg. Slik belønner Allah de gudfryktige,

31. सदा बहार बाग़ात हैं जिनमें वोह दाख़िल होंगे जिनके नीचे से नहरें बह रही होंगी, उनमें उनके लिए जो कुछ वोह चाहेंगे (मुयस्सर) होगा, इस तरह अल्लाह परहेज़गारों को सिला अ़ता फरमाता है।

৩১. চিরসবুজ বাগান যাতে তারা প্রবেশ করবে, যার তলদেশে স্রোতধারা প্রবাহিত হবে। সেখানে তারা যা কিছু চাইবে তাদের জন্যে তা (প্রাপ্য) হবে। এভাবে আল্লাহ্ পরহেযগারদের প্রতিদান প্রদান করেন

الَّذِیۡنَ تَتَوَفّٰىہُمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ طَیِّبِیۡنَ ۙ یَقُوۡلُوۡنَ سَلٰمٌ عَلَیۡکُمُ ۙ ادۡخُلُوا الۡجَنَّۃَ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۳۲﴾

32. جن کی روحیں فرشتے اس حال میں قبض کرتے ہیں کہ وہ (نیکی و طاعت کے باعث) پاکیزہ اور خوش و خرم ہوں، (ان سے فرشتے قبضِ روح کے وقت ہی کہہ دیتے ہیں:) تم پر سلامتی ہو، تم جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ ان (اَعمالِ صالحہ) کے باعث جو تم کیا کرتے تھےo

32. Those whose souls the angels take away while they are in a state of (goodness and) purity, they will say (to them): ‘Peace be upon you! Enter Paradise for what you have been doing.’

32. The angels take their lives whilst they are pure, clean, pleased and contented (due to obedience and piety. The angels tell them the moment they take their lives:) ‘Peace be upon you! Enter Paradise due to (the pious deeds) that you used to do.’

32. Allatheena tatawaffahumu almalaikatu tayyibeena yaqooloona salamun AAalaykumu odkhuloo aljannata bima kuntum taAAmaloona

32. dem som englene tar sjelen til når de er rene, gledefylte og tilfredse (ved fromhet og underkastelse); (i det øyeblikket englene tar sjelen deres) sier englene: «Fred være med dere! Gå inn i paradiset takket være det dere pleide å gjøre (av rettskafne handlinger).»

32. जिनकी रूहें फरिश्ते इस हाल में क़ब्ज करते हैं कि वोह (नेकीओ ताअ़त के बाइस) पाकीज़ा और खु़शो खु़र्रम हों, (उनसे फरिश्ते क़ब्जे रूह के वक़्त ही कह देते हैं:) तुम पर सलामती हो, तुम जन्नत में दाख़िल हो जाओ उन (आमाले सालेहा) के बाइस जो तुम किया करते थे।

,৩২. যাদের রূহ ফেরেশতাগণ এমন অবস্থায় হরণ করবে যখন তারা (নেকী ও আনুগত্যের কারণে) পূতঃপবিত্র, আনন্দিত ও প্রফুল্লিত। (তাদেরকে ফেরেশতারা রূহ হরণ করার সময়েই বলে দেবে,) ‘তোমাদের উপর শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক। তোমরা জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করো, সে (নেক আমলের) কারণে যা তোমরা করতে।’
(an-Nahl, 16 : 32)

ہَلۡ یَنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ تَاۡتِیَہُمُ الۡمَلٰٓئِکَۃُ اَوۡ یَاۡتِیَ اَمۡرُ رَبِّکَ ؕ کَذٰلِکَ فَعَلَ الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ ؕ وَ مَا ظَلَمَہُمُ اللّٰہُ وَ لٰکِنۡ کَانُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ یَظۡلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۳۳﴾

33. یہ اور کس چیز کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں سوائے اِس کے کہ ِان کے پاس فرشتے آجائیں یا آپ کے رب کا حکمِ (عذاب) آپہنچے، یہی کچھ ان لوگوں نے (بھی) کیا تھا جو اِن سے پہلے تھے، اور اللہ نے اُن پر ظلم نہیں کیا تھا لیکن وہ خود ہی اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا کرتے تھےo

33. Are they only waiting for the angels to come upon them, or should your Lord’s command come? Those who were before them did the same. Allah did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.

33. And what else are they waiting for except that the angels should come to them, or there should reach the command (of torment) from your Lord? Those before them (also) did the same. And Allah did not do them any wrong, but they themselves used to wrong their own souls.

33. Hal yanthuroona illa an tatiyahumu almalaikatu aw yatiya amru rabbika kathalika faAAala allatheena min qablihim wama thalamahumu Allahu walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoona

33. Hva annet avventer de enn at englene skal komme til dem, eller at din Herres (pines) befaling skal ankomme? Det samme gjorde de som var før dem, og Allah var ikke ond mot dem, derimot gjorde de sin egen sjel ondt.

33. ये और किस चीज़ का इन्तिज़ार कर रहे हैं सिवाए इसके कि इनके पास फरिश्ते आ जाएं या आपके रब का हुक्मे (अ़ज़ाब) आ पहुंचे, येही कुछ उन लोगों ने (भी) किया था जो उनसे पहले थे, और अल्लाह ने उन पर जुल्म नहीं किया था लेकिन वोह ख़ुद ही अपनी जानों पर ज़ुल्म किया करते थे।

৩৩. তারা আর কোন্ বস্তুর জন্যে অপেক্ষা করছে, এ ছাড়া যে, তাদের নিকট ফেরেশতারা আসে অথবা আপনার প্রতিপালকের (শাস্তির) নির্দেশ এসে পৌঁছে? যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল তারা(ও) এমন কিছুই করতো। আর আল্লাহ্ তাদের উপর যুলুম করেননি; বরং তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের আত্মার উপর যুলুম করতো।
(an-Nahl, 16 : 33)

فَاَصَابَہُمۡ سَیِّاٰتُ مَا عَمِلُوۡا وَ حَاقَ بِہِمۡ مَّا کَانُوۡا بِہٖ یَسۡتَہۡزِءُوۡنَ ﴿٪۳۴﴾

34. سو جو اَعمال انہوں نے کئے تھے انہی کی سزائیں ان کو پہنچیں اور اسی (عذاب) نے انہیں آگھیرا جس کا وہ مذاق اڑایا کرتے تھےo

34. So the evil (consequences) of what they had earned afflicted them. And the very thing they used to ridicule surrounded them (with death).

34. So the punishments that came upon them were due to the acts that they had perpetrated, and the same (chastisement) they used to make fun of engulfed them.

34. Faasabahum sayyiatu ma AAamiloo wahaqa bihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona

34. De ble nådd av straffen for de handlingene de gjorde, og den (pinen) de pleide å gjøre narr av, omringet dem.

34. सो जो आमाल उन्होंने किए थे उन ही की सज़ाएं उनको पहुंचीं और उसी (अ़ज़ाब) ने उन्हें आ घेरा जिसका वोह मज़ाक उड़ाया करते थे।

৩৪. সুতরাং যে আমল তারা করেছিল, তারই শাস্তি তাদের উপর এসেছিল। আর এটাই (এ শাস্তিই) তাদেরকে বেষ্টন করেছিল যা নিয়ে তারা উপহাস করতো।
