اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

وَ لَوۡ یُؤَاخِذُ اللّٰہُ النَّاسَ بِظُلۡمِہِمۡ مَّا تَرَکَ عَلَیۡہَا مِنۡ دَآبَّۃٍ وَّ لٰکِنۡ یُّؤَخِّرُہُمۡ اِلٰۤی اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّی ۚ فَاِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُہُمۡ لَا یَسۡتَاۡخِرُوۡنَ سَاعَۃً وَّ لَا یَسۡتَقۡدِمُوۡنَ ﴿۶۱﴾

61. اور اگر اللہ لوگوں کو ان کے ظلم کے عوض (فوراً) پکڑ لیا کرتا تو اس (زمین) پر کسی جاندار کو نہ چھوڑتا لیکن وہ انہیں مقررہ میعاد تک مہلت دیتا ہے، پھر جب ان کا مقرر وقت آپہنچتا ہے تو وہ نہ ایک گھڑی پیچھے ہو سکتے ہیں اور نہ آگے بڑھ سکتے ہیںo

61. If Allah were to punish people (immediately) for their wrongdoing, He would not leave a single moving creature on the earth, but He would reprieve them till an appointed time. So, when their time arrives, they cannot defer (it) by a moment, nor can they advance (it).

61. And had Allah seized people (instantly) for their injustice, He would not have left any living being (on the surface of the earth). But He grants them respite till an appointed term. When their fixed time arrives, then they can neither advance, nor hold it back for a single moment.

61. Walaw yuakhithu Allahu alnnasa bithulmihim ma taraka AAalayha min dabbatin walakin yuakhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman faitha jaa ajaluhum la yastakhiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoona

61. Og hvis Allah skulle ta fatt menneskene (med det samme) for deres ondskap, da ville det ikke ha vært igjen et eneste levende vesen (på jorden). Men Han gir dem nådetid til en fastsatt tidsfrist, og når deres fastsatte tid er inne, kan de ikke forsinke den et eneste øyeblikk og ei heller forsere den.

61. और अगर अल्लाह लोगों को उनके ज़ुल्म के एवज़ (फौरन) पकड़ लिया करता तो इस (ज़मीन) पर किसी जानदार को न छोड़ता लेकिन वोह उन्हें मुक़र्ररा मीआद तक मोह्‌लत देता है, फिर जब उनका मुक़र्रर वक़्त आ पहुंचता है तो वोह न एक घड़ी पीछे हो सकते हैं और न आगे बढ़ सकते हैं।

৬১. আর যদি আল্লাহ্ মানুষকে তাদের সীমালঙ্ঘনের জন্যে (তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে) পাকড়াও করতেন, তবে (এ ভুপৃষ্ঠ)-এর উপর বিচরণশীল কোনো প্রাণীকেই ছেড়ে দিতেন না। কিন্তু তিনি তাদেরকে নির্ধারিত সময় পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দেন। অতঃপর যখন তাদের নির্ধারিত সময় এসে যায়, তখন তারা না এক মুহূর্ত পশ্চাতে থাকতে পারে আর না অগ্রসর হতে পারে।

وَ یَجۡعَلُوۡنَ لِلّٰہِ مَا یَکۡرَہُوۡنَ وَ تَصِفُ اَلۡسِنَتُہُمُ الۡکَذِبَ اَنَّ لَہُمُ الۡحُسۡنٰی ؕ لَا جَرَمَ اَنَّ لَہُمُ النَّارَ وَ اَنَّہُمۡ مُّفۡرَطُوۡنَ ﴿۶۲﴾

62. اور وہ اللہ کے لئے وہ کچھ مقرر کرتے ہیں جو (اپنے لئے) ناپسند کرتے ہیں اور ان کی زبانیں جھوٹ بولتی ہیں کہ ان کے لئے بھلائی ہے، (ہرگز نہیں!) حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ان کے لئے دوزخ ہے اور یہ (دوزخ میں) سب سے پہلے بھیجے جائیں گے (اور اس میں ہمیشہ کے لئے چھوڑ دیئے جائیں گے)o

62. And they attribute to Allah what they dislike (for themselves), and their tongues utter the lie that the best (things) belong to them. Undoubtedly, for them shall be the Fire, and they will be hastened into it (to be abandoned therein).

62. And they attribute to Allah what they loathe (for themselves), and their tongues utter falsehood that there is good for them. (No indeed!) The truth is that for them there is Hell, and they will be the first ones to be sent (into Hell where they shall be left forever).

62. WayajAAaloona lillahi ma yakrahoona watasifu alsinatuhumu alkathiba anna lahumu alhusna la jarama anna lahumu alnnara waannahum mufratoona

62. Og de tilskriver Allah det de misliker (for seg selv), og tungene deres taler løgn om at det gode venter dem. (Aldri!) Sannheten er at det venter dem helvete, og at de vil bli sendt inn aller først (i helvete, og der vil de bli forlatt i all evighet).

62. और वोह अल्लाह के लिए वोह कुछ मुक़र्रर करते हैं जो (अपने लिए) नापसन्द करते हैं और उनकी जु़बानें झूट बोलती हैं कि उनके लिए भलाई है, (हर्गिज़ नहीं) हक़ीक़त ये है कि उनके लिए दोज़ख़ है और ये (दोज़ख़ में) सबसे पहले भेजे जाएंगे (और उसमें हमेशा के लिए छोड़ दिए जाएंगे) ।

৬২. আর তারা আল্লাহ্‌র জন্যে এমন কিছু নির্ধারণ করে, যা (নিজেদের জন্যে) অপছন্দ করে। আর তাদের জিহ্বা মিথ্যা দাবী করে যে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কল্যাণ। (কখনোই নয়!) প্রকৃত সত্য এ যে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নাম। আর তাদেরকে (জাহান্নামে) সর্বাগ্রে প্রেরণ করা হবে (এবং তাতে তাদেরকে চিরদিনের জন্যে ছেড়ে দেয়া হবে)।

تَاللّٰہِ لَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ اِلٰۤی اُمَمٍ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِکَ فَزَیَّنَ لَہُمُ الشَّیۡطٰنُ اَعۡمَالَہُمۡ فَہُوَ وَلِیُّہُمُ الۡیَوۡمَ وَ لَہُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۶۳﴾

63. اللہ کی قسم! یقیناً ہم نے آپ سے پہلے (بھی بہت سی) امتوں کی طرف رسول بھیجے تو شیطان نے ان (امتوں) کے لئے ان کے (برے) اعمال آراستہ و خوش نما کر دکھائے، سو وہی (شیطان) آج ان کا دوست ہے اور ان کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہےo

63. By Allah! We have certainly sent (messengers) to (many) nations before you. But Satan made their deeds fair-seeming to them. So, he is their guardian today. And there is a painful punishment for them.

63. By Allah! We certainly sent Messengers to (many) communities before you (also). Then Satan made their (evil) deeds look attractive and pleasing to them. So the same (Satan) is Today their friend. And for them there is painful punishment.

63. TaAllahi laqad arsalna ila omamin min qablika fazayyana lahumu alshshaytanu aAAmalahum fahuwa waliyyuhumu alyawma walahum AAathabun aleemun

63. Ved Allah! Sannelig, Vi sendte sendebud til (mange) samfunn før deg, og Satan gjorde deres (umoralske) handlinger innbydende og behagelige for dem; i dag er han (Satan) vennen deres, og dem venter det en smertelig pine.

63. अल्लाह की क़सम! यक़ीनन हमने आपसे पहले (भी बहुत सी) उम्मतों की तरफ रसूल भेजे तो शैतान ने उन (उम्मतों) के लिए उनके (बुरे) आमाल आरास्तआ ख़ुशनुमा कर दिखाए, सो वोही (शैतान) आज उनका दोस्त है और उनके लिए दर्दनाक अ़ज़ाब है।

৬৩. আল্লাহ্‌র শপথ! অবশ্যই আমরা আপনার পূর্বেও (বহু) জাতির নিকট রাসূল প্রেরণ করেছিলাম, তখন শয়তান তাদের জন্যে তাদের (মন্দ) কর্মগুলো সুসজ্জিত ও সুশোভিত করে দেখিয়েছিল। সুতরাং সেই (শয়তান) আজ তাদের বন্ধু এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
(an-Nahl, 16 : 63)

وَ مَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡکَ الۡکِتٰبَ اِلَّا لِتُبَیِّنَ لَہُمُ الَّذِی اخۡتَلَفُوۡا فِیۡہِ ۙ وَ ہُدًی وَّ رَحۡمَۃً لِّقَوۡمٍ یُّؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ﴿۶۴﴾

64. اور ہم نے آپ کی طرف کتاب نہیں اتاری مگر اس لئے کہ آپ ان پر وہ (اُمور) واضح کر دیں جن میں وہ اختلاف کرتے ہیں اور (اس لئے کہ یہ کتاب) ہدایت اور رحمت ہے اس قوم کے لئے جو ایمان لے آئی ہےo

64. And We did not reveal the Book to you, except that you might clarify to them what they differ on, and as a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.

64. And We have not revealed to you the Book except that you may explain clearly to them those (matters) in which they differ; and (also that this Book) is guidance and mercy for the people that have embraced faith.

64. Wama anzalna AAalayka alkitaba illa litubayyina lahumu allathee ikhtalafoo feehi wahudan warahmatan liqawmin yuminoona

64. Og Vi har åpenbart skriften for deg for at du skal gjøre det (de sakene) innlysende for dem, som de er uenige om, og (også for at denne skriften er) veiledning og nåde for det folk som har antatt troen.

64. और हमने आपकी तरफ किताब नहीं उतारी मगर इसलिए कि आप उन पर वोह (उमूर) वाज़ेह कर दें जिनमें वोह इख़्तिलाफ करते हैं और (इसलिए कि ये किताब) हिदायत और रहमत है उस क़ौम के लिए जो ईमान ले आई है।

৬৪. আর আমরা তো আপনার প্রতি এ জন্যেই কিতাব অবতীর্ণ করেছি যে, আপনি তাদের নিকট সেসব (বিষয়) সুস্পষ্ট করবেন যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করছে। আর (এ জন্যে যে, এ কিতাব) বিশ্বাস স্থাপনকারী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে হেদায়াত এবং রহমত।

وَ اللّٰہُ اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَاَحۡیَا بِہِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِہَا ؕ اِنَّ فِیۡ ذٰلِکَ لَاٰیَۃً لِّقَوۡمٍ یَّسۡمَعُوۡنَ ﴿٪۶۵﴾

65. اور اللہ نے آسمان کی جانب سے پانی اتارا اور اس کے ذریعہ زمین کو اس کے مردہ (یعنی بنجر) ہونے کے بعد زندہ (یعنی سرسبز و شاداب) کر دیا۔ بیشک اس میں (نصیحت) سننے والوں کے لئے نشانی ہےo

65. Allah sends down water from the sky, and revives the earth with it after its death. There is indeed a sign in that for people who listen.

65. And Allah pours down water from the sky, and by means of that brings the earth to life (i.e., makes it fertile and green) after it has become dead (i.e., barren and infertile). Surely, there is in it a sign for those who give ear (to advice).

65. WaAllahu anzala mina alssamai maan faahya bihi alarda baAAda mawtiha inna fee thalika laayatan liqawmin yasmaAAoona

65. Og Allah sendte ned vann fra himmelen, og ved det vekket Han jorden til live (blomstrende og frodig) etter dens død (ufruktbarhet). Sannelig, i dette er det tegn for det folk som lytter etter (formaningen).

65. और अल्लाह ने आस्मान की जानिब से पानी उतारा और उसके ज़रीए ज़मीन को उसके मुर्दा (यानी बंजर) होने के बाद ज़िन्दा (यानी सर सब्ज़ो शादाब) कर दिया। बेशक इसमें (नसीहत) सुनने वालों के लिए निशानी है।

৬৫. আর আল্লাহ্ আসমান থেকে বারি বর্ষণ করেন এবং তা দ্বারা তিনি ভুমিকে এর মৃতবৎ (অর্থাৎ বিরান ও অনুর্বর) অবস্থার পর জীবিত (অর্থাৎ উর্বর ও সবুজ-শ্যামল) করেন। নিশ্চয়ই এতে (উপদেশ) শ্রবণকারীদের জন্যে রয়েছে নিদর্শন।
