اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

وَ مَنۡ یَّعۡشُ عَنۡ ذِکۡرِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ نُقَیِّضۡ لَہٗ شَیۡطٰنًا فَہُوَ لَہٗ قَرِیۡنٌ ﴿۳۶﴾

36. اور جو شخص (خدائے) رحمان کی یاد سے صرف نظر کر لے تو ہم اُس کے لئے ایک شیطان مسلّط کر دیتے ہیں جو ہر وقت اس کے ساتھ جڑا رہتا ہےo

36. And whoever blindly turns away from the remembrance of the Most-Compassionate (Lord), We assign a Satan for him, who remains his close companion.

36. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of the Most Kind (Lord), We appoint a Satan to dominate him and stick to him constantly.

36. Waman yaAAshu AAan thikri alrrahmani nuqayyid lahu shaytanan fahuwa lahu qareenun

36. Og den som lukker øynene sine for den mest Barmhjertiges (Herrens) ihukommelse, for ham utnevner Vi en djevel, som er klistret fast til ham hele tiden.

36. और जो शख़्स (ख़ुदाए) रहमान की याद से सर्फे़ नज़र कर ले तो हम उसके लिए एक शैतान मुसल्लत कर देते हैं जो हर वक़्त उसके साथ जुड़ा रहता है।

৩৬. আর যে ব্যক্তি দয়াময় আল্লাহ্‌র স্মরণ থেকে বিমুখ হয়, আমরা তাকে নিয়ন্ত্রণে নিয়োজিত করি এক শয়তান, যে হয় তার সহচর।

حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءَنَا قَالَ یٰلَیۡتَ بَیۡنِیۡ وَ بَیۡنَکَ بُعۡدَ الۡمَشۡرِقَیۡنِ فَبِئۡسَ الۡقَرِیۡنُ ﴿۳۸﴾

38. یہاں تک کہ جب وہ ہمارے پاس آئے گا تو (اپنے ساتھی شیطان سے) کہے گا: اے کاش! میرے اور تیرے درمیان مشرق و مغرب کا فاصلہ ہوتا پس (تو) بہت ہی برا ساتھی تھاo

38. But when he comes to Us, he will say: ‘I wish there had been between me and you the distance of the two easts. What an evil companion (you were)!’

38. Until when he will come to Us, he will say (to his companion, Satan): ‘Alas! Would that there had been between me and you the distance of east and west; So (you were) the most evil companion indeed!’

38. Hatta itha jaana qala ya layta baynee wabaynaka buAAda almashriqayni fabisa alqareenu

38. Helt til han kommer til Oss, vil han si (til sin djevelske følgesvenn): «Akk, om det bare hadde vært Østens og Vestens avstand mellom meg og deg! Hvilken elendig følgesvenn (du var)!»

38. यहां तक कि जब वोह हमारे पास आएगा तो (अपने साथी शैतान से) कहेगा: ऐ काश! मेरे और तेरे दर्मियान मश्रिक़ो मग़्रिब का फासला होता पस (तू) बहुत ही बुरा साथी था।

৩৮. অবশেষে যখন সে আমাদের নিকট উপস্থিত হবে তখন (নিজের সঙ্গী শয়তানকে) বলবে, ‘হায়! যদি তোমার ও আমার মাঝে পূর্ব ও পশ্চিমের ব্যবধান থাকতো। সুতরাং (তুমি ছিলে) কতোই না নিকৃষ্ট সঙ্গী!
(az-Zukhruf, 43 : 38)

وَ لَنۡ یَّنۡفَعَکُمُ الۡیَوۡمَ اِذۡ ظَّلَمۡتُمۡ اَنَّکُمۡ فِی الۡعَذَابِ مُشۡتَرِکُوۡنَ ﴿۳۹﴾

39. اور آج کے دن تمہیں (یہ آرزو کرنا) سود مند نہیں ہوگا جبکہ تم (عمر بھر) ظلم کرتے رہے، (آج) تم سب عذاب میں شریک ہوo

39. It will not benefit you on that Day. As you did wrong, so will you share in the punishment.

39. And this Day it is not profitable for you (to have this aspiration), whereas you kept doing wrong (all your life. Today) all of you will share the torment.

39. Walan yanfaAAakumu alyawma ith thalamtum annakum fee alAAathabi mushtarikoona

39. Og aldri vil det være gagnlig for dere (å be om dette) i dag når dere holdt på med ondskap (livet ut); dere er alle like andelshavere i pinen (i dag).

39. और आज के दिन तुम्हें (ये आरज़ू करना) सूदमंद नहीं होगा जबकि तुम (उम्र भर) जु़ल्म करते रहे (आज) तुम सब अ़ज़ाब में शरीक हो।

৩৯. আর আজকের দিনে তোমাদের (এ আকাঙ্ক্ষা) কোনো কাজেই আসবে না, যেহেতু তোমরা (জীবনভর) অন্যায় করেছিলে। (আজ) তোমরা সকলেই শাস্তিতে অংশীদার।
(az-Zukhruf, 43 : 39)

وَ اِنَّہٗ لَذِکۡرٌ لَّکَ وَ لِقَوۡمِکَ ۚ وَ سَوۡفَ تُسۡـَٔلُوۡنَ ﴿۴۴﴾

44. اور یقیناً یہ (قرآن) آپ کے لئے اور آپ کی امت کے لئے عظیم شرف ہے، اور (لوگو!) عنقریب تم سے پوچھا جائے گا (کہ تم نے قرآن کے ساتھ کتنا تعلق استوار کیا)o

44. Surely, this (Qur’an) is a Reminder for you and your people. (O people!) You will soon be questioned (about it).

44. And verily, this (Qur’an) is a great honour for you and for your Umma (Community). And, (O people,) you will soon be asked (how strong and firm a relation you established with the Qur’an).

44. Wainnahu lathikrun laka waliqawmika wasawfa tusaloona

44. Og sannelig, den (Koranen) er en svær ære for deg og folket (det muslimske samfunnet) ditt. Og (å, dere folk!), snart vil dere bli forhørt (om hvor nært forhold dere dannet til Koranen).

44. और यक़ीनन ये (कु़रआन) आपके लिए और आपकी उम्मत के लिए अ़ज़ीम शरफ है, और (लोगो!) अ़नक़रीब तुम से पूछा जाएगा (कि तुमने क़ुरआन के साथ कितना तअ़ल्लुक उस्तुवार किया) ।

৪৪. আর অবশ্যই এ (কুরআন) আপনার জন্যে এবং আপনার উম্মতের জন্যে মহা সম্মানের। আর (হে মানুষ!) তোমাদেরকে অচিরেই জিজ্ঞেস করা হবে (যে, তোমারা কুরআনের সাথে কীরকম সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করেছিলে।)
(az-Zukhruf, 43 : 44)

وَ سۡـَٔلۡ مَنۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِکَ مِنۡ رُّسُلِنَاۤ اَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ اٰلِـہَۃً یُّعۡبَدُوۡنَ ﴿٪۴۵﴾

45. اور جو رسول ہم نے آپ سے پہلے بھیجے آپ اُن سے پوچھئے کہ کیا ہم نے (خدائے) رحمان کے سوا کوئی اور معبود بنائے تھے کہ اُن کی پرستش کی جائےo

45. Ask (the followers of) those of Our messengers whom We had sent before you. Did We ever appoint any gods to be worshipped besides the Most-Compassionate (Lord)?

45. And ask the Messengers We sent before you whether We made any gods to be worshipped instead of the Most Kind (Lord).

45. Waisal man arsalna min qablika min rusulina ajaAAalna min dooni alrrahmani alihatan yuAAbadoona

45. Og spør de sendebudene som Vi sendte før deg, om Vi laget noen tilbedelsesverdige for dem utenom den mest Barmhjertige (Herren), slik at de skulle tilbe dem!

45. और जो रसूल हमने आपसे पहले भेजे आप उनसे पूछिये कि क्या हमने (ख़ुदाए) रहमान के सिवा कोई और माबूद बनाए थे कि उनकी परस्तिश की जाए।

৪৫. আর আপনার পূর্বে যে রাসূলগণকে প্রেরণ করেছিলাম তাঁদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, আমরা কি দয়াময় আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত অন্য কোনো উপাস্য স্থির করেছিলাম যার উপাসনা করা যায়?
(az-Zukhruf, 43 : 45)
