Surah az-Zumar Ayat 58 with English Translation

اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

اَوۡ تَقُوۡلَ حِیۡنَ تَرَی الۡعَذَابَ لَوۡ اَنَّ لِیۡ کَرَّۃً فَاَکُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُحۡسِنِیۡنَ ﴿۵۸﴾

58. یا عذاب دیکھتے وقت کہنے لگے کہ اگر ایک بار میرا دنیا میں لوٹنا ہو جائے تو میں نیکوکاروں میں سے ہو جاؤںo

58. Or one should say when he sees the punishment: ‘If only there had been a second chance for me, I would be among the virtuous.’

58. Or should say on seeing the torment: ‘Would that I was able to return to the world but once, I would then become one of the pious.’

58. Aw taqoola heena tara alAAathaba law anna lee karratan faakoona mina almuhsineena

58. eller at noen skal si idet han ser pinen: 'Hvis jeg bare kunne ha vendt en gang tilbake til verden, ville jeg ha blitt av de dydige.'»

58. या अ़ज़ाब देखते वक़्त कहने लगे कि अगर एक बार मेरा दुन्या में लौटना हो जाए तो मैं नेकूकारों में से हो जाऊं।

৫৮. অথবা শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ করে বলতে থাকবে, ‘আহা, যদি একবার পার্থিব জীবনে আমার প্রত্যাবর্তন হতো তবে আমি সৎকর্মপরায়ণ হতাম’।
(az-Zumar, 39 : 58)
