وَ اقۡتَرَبَ الۡوَعۡدُ الۡحَقُّ فَاِذَا ہِیَ شَاخِصَۃٌ اَبۡصَارُ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا ؕ یٰوَیۡلَنَا قَدۡ کُنَّا فِیۡ غَفۡلَۃٍ مِّنۡ ہٰذَا بَلۡ کُنَّا ظٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۹۷﴾
97. اور (قیامت کا) سچا وعدہ قریب ہو جائے گا تو اچانک کافر لوگوں کی آنکھیں کھلی رہ جائیں گی (وہ پکار اٹھیں گے:) ہائے ہماری شومئ قسمت! کہ ہم اس (دن کی آمد) سے غفلت میں پڑے رہے بلکہ ہم ظالم تھےo
97. and the true promise draws near (to its fulfilment), behold, the eyes of the disbelievers shall stare in horror, (and they will cry out:) ‘Woe to us! We have certainly been heedless to this (day)! Rather, we have been wrongdoers!’
97. And the true promise (of the Day of Resurrection) will draw near, then the eyes of the disbelievers will suddenly fix staring (and they will cry out:) ‘Woe to us! We were indeed oblivious of (the arrival of) this (Day); in fact, we were unjust.’
97. Waiqtaraba alwaAAdu alhaqqu faitha hiya shakhisatun absaru allatheena kafaroo ya waylana qad kunna fee ghaflatin min hatha bal kunna thalimeena
97. og det (den siste timens) sanne løfte vil komme nær. Da vil de vantros øyne plutselig stå vidåpne (de vil utbryte): «Ve oss! Vi forsømte fortapt denne (dagens ankomst), faktisk var vi onde!»
97. और (क़ियामत का) सच्चा वादा क़रीब हो जाएगा तो अचानक काफिर लोगों की आंखें खुली रह जाएंगी, (वोह पुकार उठेंगे:) हाए हमारी शोमिए क़िस्मत! कि हम उस (दिन की आमद) से गफ्लत में पड़े रहे बल्कि हम ज़ालिम थे।
,৯৭. আর (কিয়ামতের) সত্য প্রতিশ্রুতকাল নিকটবর্তী হবে, তখন অকস্মাৎ কাফেরদের চক্ষু স্থির হয়ে যাবে। (তারা চিৎকার করে উঠবে,) ‘হায় দুর্ভাগ্য আমাদের! আমরা এ (দিনের আগমন) থেকে উদাসীনতায় ছিলাম, প্রকৃত পক্ষে আমরা ছিলাম যালিম।’
واقترب الوعد الحق فإذا هي شاخصة أبصار الذين كفروا يا ويلنا قد كنا في غفلة من هذا بل كنا ظالمين
